Wiring, mounting and tone setup for the BTC 18S W295-R.
Installation steps
- Mount the amplifier somewhere dry, such as under a seat or in a closed box, away from engine heat
- Mount the control head within reach of the driver, so you can press it without looking away from the road
- Connect the two green wires to one 100–200 W speaker
- Connect black to negative or ground first, then red to 12 V positive through the fuse
- Use the white switched-positive output if you want the box to power another device
- Power on with NO/OFF and test every button before going on the road
12 V only. Connecting 24 V or reversing polarity will damage the unit and void the warranty.
Setting tones on button 4
- Press SCAN to enter tone setup
- Choose the tones to store on button 4
- Only button 4 can be set. Don't set tones while another tone is on, and don't use the rotary switch to set tones
